Stolichnaya Vodka has a spicy after taste. It originates from Russia's dark soils of the Tambov region in southern Moscow and is made at the Latvijas Balzams distillery, in Riga, Latvia. Its region of birth is known as the "bread basket" of the country due to growing the best wheat. This is the key element of this vodka's soft, wheaty taste. The wheat and rye are distilled 4 times and is filtered with quartz sand, activated charcoal and cloth fabric. Also added is Samara Artesian water.
